Chronic diseases are becoming an enormous problem in many countries; in fact, it is the leader in cause of death in the United States. There are many different types of chronic diseases, for instance, Obesity, Epilepsy and seizures, and Type-2 Diabetes. Chronic disease becomes more common with age, yet these diseases are becoming more prevalent in younger kids for many different reasons and most chromic diseases are linked to each other. Type-2 diabetes impacts just about every part of the world, for example it has a prominent stand in Africa. Diabetes in Africa is challenging and puzzling, since most African countries only have 2-3% prevalence rate. It’s not a lot as of now but there is reason to believe that there will be an outbreak in Africa. Type-2 Diabetes is a chronic disease in which people have problems regulating their blood sugar. People with diabetes have high blood sugar because their bodies do not produce enough insulin, are not responsive to insulin, and a combi nation of both Type-2 diabetes is extremely common. The Centers for Disease Control and prevention (CDC) estimates that over 29 million children and adults in the United States have some form of diabetes. That is about 9 percent of the population. The vast majority of these people have type-2 diabetes. Type-2 diabetes is often preventable some of the risk factors for it are obesity, sedentary lifestyle, old age, family history of diabetes, history of gestational diabetes, and race or ethnicity.
